The Ceremony took place on Rodeo Drive and included live entertainment from local acts: M-Pact (a 7-piece A Capella group), Concert 9Net (a 9-piece Jazz Orchestra) and The Ditty Bops (a quartet combining swing, vaudeville and folk). Also on stage, Beverly Hills

UNICEF’s 60th Anniversary and Utopia created a surprise grand finale, in addition to lighting the 16ft-tall snowflake, to celebrate the occasion.
Before the stage show, Rodeo Drive was flooded with atmosphere entertainment including; face painters, musicians and caricature artists. Parents and children were able to make an early visit to Santa Claus located at 2Rodeo and take home a complimentary picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
