UTOPIA ENTERTAINMENT TO PRODUCE GREAT SKATE 2010

January 14, 2010 – Utopia Entertainment, Inc. has been selected to produce The GREAT SKATE event for the Orange County Great Park.  Working in tandem with the Great Park staff, Utopia Entertainment will design, develop and produce this wintery event, which will be held on January 30, 2010 from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

This annual event is certain to be a hit with the residents of Orange County as it offers frosty, family entertainment not often associated with Southern California.  “We are thrilled to be working together with the wonderful staff of the Great Park on this exciting event.  It’s not often that we have the chance of providing a wintery wonderland here in Southern California, which makes this unique event even more special,” states Daniel Burzlaff, President of Utopia Entertainment.

The Great Skate will offer a spectacular family experience that will include an incredible ice skating rink, snow sledding, snow play area with snowman building, kids activities, street hokey play zone and great food.  In addition, Utopia Entertainment is providing a professional ice skating duo show, a high-octane snowboard-trampoline show, street entertainment and winter-themed décor. 
The Great Skate is an exciting community event that transforms the Orange County Great Park into an icy playground, which is certainly unique to the region.  Norm Kahn, CEO of Utopia states, “This is the first year for Utopia Entertainment to be involved in this event, and we are looking forward to supporting the Great Park in developing the Great Skate for many years to come.  This event has the potential of growing, both by adding new and exciting elements and in popularity over the years and we hope to play a role in its continued success.”
Utopia Entertainment will act as the Event Producer and shall provide event planning services, production management, graphic design, décor design, production & technical services and will work directly with the Great Park team, their local sponsors and volunteers to produce this wonderful community event.
