UTOPIA ENTERTAINMENT PROVIDES SPECIAL EFFECTS AND ILLUSIONS FOR THE 2004 HERBALIFE BANGKOK EXTRAVAGANZA
Bangkok, Thailand – September 15, 2004 - Utopia Entertainment Inc, a full service design and Production Company provided entertainment elements for the 2004 Herbalife Bangkok Extravaganza at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center.
The event, which was held for over 17,000 Herbalife Distributors from the Asia-Pacific Region, took place over the course of 3 days, September 10-13, 2004. Presentations from the CEO of Herbalife, Michael O. Johnson, and other key executives of the company, were highlighted by the use of cutting edge special effects designed and produced by Utopia Entertainment. They included an automated illusion platform that made a key speaker disappear live on stage. This effect combined the use of pyrotechnics, CO2, show action equipment, strobes, intelligent lighting fixtures, and successfully ‘vanished’ the speaker in a split-second, right in front of the audience!
Other effects included Kabuki Drapery Tubes that in a flash, revealed Key Speakers on platforms within the audience! Hydraulic Lift Platforms were also used to make a dozen of the Company’s most successful distributors appear stage. In addition, Utopia contributed technical support and direction during the course of the event that included over 50 confetti & streamer canons, bubble machines, lasers and for a finale production that featured over 100 shots of Indoor Pyrotechnics, Airbursts, and Line Rockets.
