UTOPIA ENTERTAINMENT OPENS SHOWS FOR WARNER BROS MOVIE WORLD, MADRID

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 2, 2002 - Utopia Entertainment Inc, a full service design and Production Company has just completed work for Europe’s newest theme park, Warner Brothers Movie World, Madrid that opened on April 6, 2002.

Utopia Entertainment provided services ranging from production management, creative direction, and technical direction for several of the brand new attractions such as; “Police Academy Stunt Show”, “Lethal Weapon Stunt Show”, “Gotham Street Show” (Batman Stunt Show), “The Mask” (Hollywood Makeup Show) and “Hollywood Fantasy” (Nighttime Lagoon Show). “The entire Utopia team was instrumental in assisting us with the production of our live entertainment. We look forward to working together with them as we commence our first year of operations,” stated Thomas Mehrmann, Managing Director and General Manager of Parque Tematico Madrid.

“Hollywood Fantasy” a laser light, pyrotechnic spectacular is performed during peak operating dates in the center of the lagoon. Danny Burzlaff, President of Utopia states, “Since the lagoon also serves as the home to the Lethal Weapon Show during the day, there is a rather complex and technically challenging ‘change over’ that occurs each evening as fountain barges and pyrotechnic barges are moved into position and connected for the show. This spectacular event features Warner Brothers’ film moments projected upon an enormous Water Screen, Water Cannons, Synchronized Lagoon Pyrotechnics, Dancing & Lighted Water Fountains, Intelligent Lights, Spectacular Lasers and an Awesome Soundtrack. The entire show culminates with an amazing aerial pyrotechnic display!” The “Police Academy Stunt Show” is a mega live action and special effects production that is presented within an entire city block of Los Angeles. A similar show currently runs at Warner Brothers Movie World Germany, and both are loosely based upon the popular films of the same title. For this new production Danny Burzlaff created and wrote a brand new script and provided production direction and creative direction throughout the development process and rehearsals.Utopia’s sister company, Utopia Entertainment International, S.L. shall continue to provide Operations Consulting for the remainder of the 2002 park’s operating season.
